Chatra, Mar 15 (PTI) Two persons, including a woman, were arrested in connection with the alleged murder of a 23-year-old man in Jharkhand’s Chatra district, a police officer said on Sunday.
The incident occurred on March 13 near Dhamdhama village on the Chatra-Simariya Road when the man, identified as Karamjeet Kumar alias Vikas Saw, was returning home from a court, after recording his statement in a case related to his “love affair with a minor”.
“We arrested two accused, including a 38-year-old woman, from the Tandwa police station area. The entire case was a conspiracy hatched by the minor’s family members due to the love affair, which led to the murder of the man,” SP Sumit Agarwal said.
