New Delhi: John Distilleries, the maker of the Paul John Indian Single Malt Whisky, bagged multiple awards at the Spirits Business World Whisky Masters 2025 held in the UK.
The Paul John PX, Peated Select Cask, and the Port won a master medal. Whereas, the Paul John Madeira and Oloroso each won a gold.
Paul John’s latest victory adds to its portfolio of international accolades, including previous wins at the 2025 SIP Awards, where the Classic Select Cask received the Best of Class Platinum, alongside two gold medals and an Innovation Award for Pedro Ximénez.
The World Whisky Masters is recognised as one of the most prestigious competitions in the spirits industry. Judged by experts, including Ruchira Neotia, drinks presenter and founder of Ruchira’s Table, among others.
According to a statement by the maker, Paul John Single Malts are distilled in the warm tropical climes of Goa, matured in ex-bourbon casks and have no additives. Its offerings are created from Indian barley harvested from Rajasthan and Haryana. It was launched in 2012 and is currently available in 49 countries.
