Indian Armed Forces to hold first-ever Tri-Service Conference

The 'Parivartan Chintan', as the conference is being called, will be held for a day. The Chief of Defence Staff of the Indian Armed Forces, General Anil Chauhan will chair the conference.

The Indian Armed Forces will conduct its first ever conference of the heads of all the tri-service institutions on April 8 in New Delhi. The conference will be aimed at promoting jointness and integration efforts, a PIB press release stated.

The ‘Parivartan Chintan’, as the conference is being called, will be held for a day. The Chief of Defence Staff of the Indian Armed Forces, General Anil Chauhan will chair the conference.

According to the information, the purpose of bringing this conference is to get fresh ideas, initiatives and reforms to push forward the efforts of jointness and integration.

The conference will also be the first ever gathering of the heads of all the tri-service institutions. This conference will also provide an opportunity to promote jointness and integration by making decisions. It is believed that this conference will help in creating a better understanding and cooperation among the services.
