Mathura (UP), Mar 21 (PTI) Filmstar-turned politician Hema Malini inspected the Swami Haridas auditorium complex ahead of its inauguration here, and sang bhajans to test the sound and lighting system.

She also enlisted an industry expert to assist with the evaluation of the auditorium’s sound and light systems, according to Janardan Sharma, a representative of Mathura Lok Sabha MP Hema Malini. The auditorium is nearly complete, and tests are being conducted for various parameters, according to Kapil Singh, the executive engineer for UP Jal Nigam.

The complex, built at a cost of Rs 42.15 crore, features an auditorium, an open-air theatre, a dormitory, and other accommodations. It will host major cultural events and promote the religious and cultural specialities of the region, he added.
