Jaipur, Mar 10 (PTI) Amid rising temperatures, the weather office has forecast heatwave conditions at isolated places in south-western Rajasthan on Wednesday.
Barmer was the hottest in the state on Tuesday, recording a maximum temperature of 40.6 degrees Celsius, followed by Pilani in Jhunjhunu where the day temperature stook at 39.3 degrees Celsius.
Chittorgarh, Churu, Bikaner and Sikar districts logged maximum temperature at 39 degrees Celsius, 38.7 degrees Celsius, 38.2 degrees Celsius and 37.8 degrees Celsius, respectively. The day temperature in Jaipur stood at 37.5 degrees Celsius, according to weather department. Temperatures are likely to fall marginally March 12 onwards, with a western disturbance likely to trigger light rainfall at isolated places in the state on March 14-15, it added. PTI SDA ARB ARB
