The government Thursday launched a platform, ‘NITI for States’, to assist states and Union Territories (UTs) in achieving their development goals.
The platform will provide a one-stop shop for the collection of best practices, policy documents, datasets, and other valuable resources. It will also offer expert guidance through partnerships with leading institutions, which can help states and UTs to address specific challenges, said a press statement issued by the Press Information Bureau (PIB).
According to the statement, the platform will serve as a repository for “7,500 curated best practices, 5,000 policy documents, 900+ datasets, 1,400 data profiles, and 350 NITI Aayog publications”.
“In the near future the platform will be available in 22 major Indian languages and 7 foreign languages,” the statement added.
