Thane, Mar 18 (PTI) A major fire broke out on the seventh floor of a residential building in Manpada area of Thane city on Wednesday evening, a civic official said, adding that no person was reported injured in the incident.
The fire started at Snowdrop Building located inside Nilkanth Society, said Disaster Management Cell chief Yasin Tadvi.
The cell received information about the fire at 7.16 pm.
Chief Fire Officer Girish Jhalke and personnel from the fire department rushed to the spot and fire-fighting was underway, Tadvi added.
