Palghar, Mar 17 (PTI) A fire broke out at a pharmaceutical company in Maharashtra’s Palghar district on Tuesday morning, an official said.
There were no reports of any casualties, district disaster management cell chief Vivekanand Kadam said.
The blaze erupted at the pharmaceutical unit in Boisar Industrial Estate at around 8.30 am, he said.
After being alerted, four fire engines, including those from the Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) and the Palghar Municipal Council, were pressed into service. Efforts were underway to douse the flames, Kadam said.
The cause of the blaze was yet to be ascertained. PTI COR GK
