New Delhi, Mar 12 (PTI) Former vice president M Venkaiah Naidu on Thursday held several meetings with key public representatives and others who worked closely with Atal Bihari Vajpayee to discuss the activities to be taken up by Atal Smriti Nyas Society.
Naidu, who is the president of Atal Smriti Nyas Society, said the underlying mission of the society is to preserve and promote the legacy of former prime minister Vajpayee and honour his life, values, and contribution to the nation.
Naidu interacted at length with BJP president Nitin Nabin, Union ministers Pralhad Joshi and G Kishan Reddy, and Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi, Rajiv Pratap Rudy and Syed Shahnawaz Hussain — all of whom also worked in Vajpayee’s cabinet.
