New Delhi: In a move set to bolster India’s AI capabilities, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan will announce the launch of three new Artificial Intelligence (AI) Centres of Excellence (CoE) in New Delhi Tuesday. These centers will focus on crucial sectors—Healthcare, Agriculture, and Sustainable Cities, a PIB release revealed.
The announcement aligns with the government’s “Viksit Bharat” vision and aims to create a robust AI ecosystem in India, the release added. Attendees include K Sanjay Murthy, Directors of IITs, heads of higher educational institutions, industry leaders, startup founders, and senior officials from various ministries of the Government of India.
