Puducherry, Mar 21 (PTI) Veteran DMK leader R Siva along with his family own assets of Rs 24.91 crore, the affidavit filed by him with the Election Commission for the April 9 Assembly elections in the union territory said on Saturday.
The Leader of the Opposition owns movable assets worth Rs 2.01 crore, while his wife S Nirmala has Rs 4.75 crore and daughter S Santhoshi holds Rs 7.63 lakh worth of properties.
Among the movable properties, eight vehicles, including a tractor and Eicher van are owned by the couple.
While 59-year-old Siva does not own any immovable assets under his name, his wife has agricultural lands worth Rs 3.51 crore, non-agricultural lands valued at Rs 2.04 crore, commercial buildings worth Rs 6.01 crore and residential buildings valued at Rs 6.50 crore, totalling Rs 18.06 crore.
In terms of loans from banks and other institutions, the couple owe Rs 6.83 crore, the affidavit said.
Ravi also owns 300 gm of gold worth Rs 43.95 lakh, while his wife has 750 gram of the precious metal valued at Rs 1.09 crore, and 6,000 grams of silver valued at Rs 16.56 lakh.
The couple’s daughter owns 50 gram of gold worth Rs 7.32 lakh, the affidavit said.
In 2024-25, Siva declared annual revenue of Rs 10.37 lakh, while his wife Rs 66.27 lakh, it added. PTI VIJ VIJ KH
