New Delhi, Apr 8 (PTI) The Delhi government on Wednesday said that it has appointed single point of contact persons to coordinate implementation and liaise the “My career advisor” app.

The app is a structured, data driven platform that guides students on career choices linked to emerging fields such as artificial intelligence.

State-level single point of contact (SPOC) persons has been appointed to coordinate implementation and liaise with concerned agencies regarding the app, the Directorate of Education said.

The initiative relates to the “My Career Advisor (MCA)” platform, a mobile and web-based application developed under the aegis of the Ministry of Education. It is aimed at helping students make informed decisions by aligning career guidance with evolving workforce requirements.

The order, issued by State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) Delhi, said the platform also seeks to bridge gaps in access to career counselling, particularly in underserved and rural areas.

It is in line with the vision of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and has seen adoption across several states and Union Territories with support from the Ministry of Education.

As part of the rollout, coordination meetings with stakeholders and capacity-building programmes for teachers and students will be organised to facilitate effective implementation. PTI SHB SHB SKY SKY
