New Delhi, Mar 17 (PTI) The Delhi Congress on Tuesday launched its National Talent Hunt here, inviting youth to apply for key communication roles.

Announcing the initiative at Rajiv Bhawan, Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee (DPCC) chief Devender Yadav said applications can be submitted online by April 15 through a QR code, adding that a committee has been set up to shortlist candidates.

“Any youth who believes in the ideology of the Congress can apply,” he said.

The programme seeks to recruit spokespersons, research coordinators, and publicity coordinators at the district, state, and national levels, he said.

“The objective is to strengthen the party’s communication system and give young people an opportunity to voice their opinions in the democratic process,” Yadav said.

According to Yadav, the initiative, under the guidance of Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge and Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, would identify youth aligned with the party’s ideology and provide them platforms across levels.

DPCC members said the move would allow ordinary workers and ideologically aligned youth to “express themselves in the interest of the country.” Shortlisted candidates will undergo a multi-stage process culminating in a state-level evaluation by a jury before final appointments are made, they added.
