New Delhi, Mar 19 (PTI) Chief Minister Rekha Gupta prayed for the well-being of Delhi and its people on the first day of Navratri at the Jhandewalan Mandir on Thursday.

Greeting people on the occasion, she said Navratri symbolises the country’s rich cultural heritage, devotion and strength.

She offered prayers to goddess Durga at the temple and prayed for the happiness, prosperity and well-being of the people of Delhi, said a Delhi CMO statement.

“The festival inspires people with positive energy, inner strength and a spirit of service towards society,” Gupta said, hoping that goddess Durga’s blessings will continue to guide every family in Delhi, bringing peace, happiness and prosperity into their lives.

The chief minister also attended a devotional music programme, ‘Bhajan Clubbing’, organised near the temple. PTI VIT VIT MPL MPL
