Jammu, Apr 7 (PTI) Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Tuesday heard grievances raised by several legislators at a meeting here and assured that all genuine issues would be addressed in a time-bound manner, an official spokesman said.

Separately, a delegation from Ladakh led by Member of Parliament Haji Mohd Haneefa Jan also met the chief minister and discussed common issues concerning Jammu and Kashmir, and Ladakh, the spokesman said.

He said legislators from the National Conference (NC), BJP and Independents called on the chief minister at the civil secretariat and apprised him of constituency-specific issues and public grievances.

The spokesman said the MLAs apprised him of various pressing demands, developmental concerns and public grievances about their respective constituencies, and urged for their early resolution, emphasising that most of the issues raised were of public importance.

Abdullah gave a patient hearing to the visiting legislators and assured them that all genuine issues would be addressed with priority, he said.

The chief minister reiterated that his government is committed to ensuring equitable and inclusive development across all regions, emphasising that balanced growth is a collective endeavour.
