Jaipur, Mar 26 (PTI) The central government has increased the allocation of commercial gas to Rajasthan by 10 per cent, following a request from the state, officials said on Thursday.

The state government had earlier urged the Centre for additional gas allocation to meet the growing demand. Following this request, the allocation of commercial gas was increased by 10 per cent, the official said.

Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for this decision.

Meanwhile, officials have stated there is no shortage of gas, petrol, or diesel in the state, and adequate supplies are being maintained.

“The government is taking necessary steps to ensure that the public does not face any inconvenience,” the official added. PTI SDA MPL MPL
