Central Ministries resolved 1,34,386 public grievances in June

Average grievance disposal time in Central Ministries/Departments stands at 14 days.

New Delhi: The Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG) has informed that 1,34,386 grievances were redressed by the Central Ministries/Departments during the month of June 2024, a PIB press release stated.

This is the 26th monthly report released by DARPG.

According to the report, the average time taken for grievance disposal in the Central Ministries/Departments from 1 January to 30 June 2024 was 14 days. The department has also provided data regarding the new users who registered on the CPGRAMS platform.

A total of 64367 new users were registered during the month of June 2024. The highest number of new users were from Assam (12467) followed by Uttar Pradesh (8909). The report also states that 17,844 grievances were registered through the Common Service Centres (CSCs) in June 2024.

The department has further said that 52 percent of the citizens expressed satisfaction with the resolution provided by the Feedback Call Centre.

For the last six months, the department has also provided a pendency report of PG cases.

As of 30 June 2024, there were 139387 PG cases received and 134386 PG cases were redressed. The department also has a pendency of 87323 PG cases. At the end of the June 2024, the pendency of 23712 PG Appeals was reported by the Central Secretariat.
