The primary objective of this conclave will be to find ways to integrate Buddhist teachings into modern media practices in order to address global crises and enhance trust in media institutions. The conclave also aims to promote mindful communication and establish a network of Buddhist media professionals across Asia.
About 150 delegates, including Buddhist journalists and media personalities from 12 different countries, participated in the first conclave. This event laid the foundation for integrating Buddhist principles into media practices. The second International Buddhist Media Conclave is expected to draw more delegates from across Asia.
