New Delhi, Apr 12 (PTI) Union Minister Annpurna Devi on Sunday expressed grief over the demise of legendary singer Asha Bhosle, calling it the “end of an era”.

In a post on X, Devi said Bhosle, honoured with the Padma Vibhushan, touched millions of hearts with her melodious voice and unparalleled singing, and her contribution to the music world will always remain unforgettable.

“Bhosle’s passing is not just the loss of an artist, but the end of an era,” the women and child development minister said, extending condolences to the bereaved family and praying for peace to the departed soul.
