Itanagar, Apr 3 (PTI) Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu and his deputy Chowna Mein extended greetings to the people of the state on the occasion of Good Friday, urging them to reflect on the values of sacrifice, forgiveness and moral courage.

In a post on X, Khandu said Good Friday serves as a moment not only of remembrance but also of introspection.

“Good Friday is not just about remembrance, but about introspection. A reminder that strength lies in restraint, dignity in sacrifice, and victory in moral courage. May we carry these values in our lives. Blessed #GoodFriday,” the chief minister said.

Mein, in a social media post, also conveyed his greetings, calling on people to reflect on the profound message associated with the day.

“On this solemn occasion of Good Friday, let us reflect on the sacrifice of Lord Jesus Christ and the profound message of love, forgiveness and redemption. May this day strengthen our faith and guide us on the path of holiness and righteousness. Wishing you all a blessed and peaceful Good Friday,” Mein said.

Good Friday, observed by Christians across the world, commemorates the crucifixion of Lord Jesus Christ and his sacrifice for humanity. The day is marked by prayers, church services and reflection on the themes of compassion, forgiveness and redemption. PTI UPL UPL MNB
