Air quality in city poor

New Delhi, Oct 17 (PTI) Delhi’s air quality remained in the poor category for the fourth consecutive morning on Thursday, according to the Central Pollution Control Board.

The Air Quality Index (AQI) stood at 277 at 9 am.

An AQI between zero and 50 is considered good, 51 and 100 satisfactory, 101 and 200 moderate, 201 and 300 poor, 301 and 400 very poor, and 401 and 500 severe. The minimum temperature was recorded at 20.3 degrees Celsius, 1 notch above normal, according to the weather department.

Relative humidity was recorded 91 per cent.

The city is likely to witness a mainly clear sky with the maximum temperature expected to hover around 35 degrees Celsius. PTI BM DV DV
