Agra, Aligarh in UP witness rainfall

Lucknow, Mar 30 (PTI) Uttar Pradesh on Monday received traces of rainfall in Agra and Aligarh, the local meteorological department said.

According to the Met department, the state capital Lucknow recorded a maximum temperature of 37.4 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 22 degrees Celsius.

Banda was the hottest place in the state, where the mercury touched 41.4 degrees Celsius, followed by Prayagraj at 40.5 degrees Celsius.

Rain and thundershowers are very likely at isolated places over eastern Uttar Pradesh, and a few places over western Uttar Pradesh, the department said in a statement. PTI NAV RUK RUK
