Lucknow, Mar 27 (PTI) Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Friday extended his Ram Navami greetings, saying that Lord Ram represents the ideal of Indian consciousness.

Ram embodies a marvellous balance between compassion and duty, he said on X.

“Heartfelt greetings to all devotees and residents of the state on the auspicious birth anniversary of Lord Shri Ram … the supreme symbol of Dharma (righteousness), Truth, and Maryada (propriety),” he said.

Adityanath said Ram’s life serves as a reminder that the true beauty of power lies in adhering to propriety and in the welfare of the people.

“This auspicious day of Ram Navami inspires us to give primacy to truth in our conduct, compassion in our interactions, and harmony within society; this, indeed, constitutes the true celebration of ‘Ram-tva’ (the essence of Ram),” he said. PTI CDN VN VN
