New Delhi, Mar 25 (PTI) AAP MLA Aaley Mohammad Iqbal on Wednesday asked the government in the Delhi Assembly what steps it was taking to allay the LPG shortage.
Iqbal was the lone AAP MLA who attended the House, despite a boycott of the Budget Session by his party.
His father, Shoeb Iqbal, a six-time MLA, resigned from the Aam Aadmi Party in November last year.
The Matia Mahal MLA said there was panic over LPG supply in the city and sought to know from the government what steps were taken to prevent black marketing and hoarding.
Food and Civil Supplies Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa said the supply of LPG in Delhi was normal.
“There is no panic in Delhi. Data show that there is no overbooking of cylinders and supply is normal,” Sirsa said.
