Jhansi (UP), Mar 11 (PTI) A nine-year-old boy was allegedly sodomised by two teenagers from his neighbourhood here, officials said on Wednesday.
The matter came to light after the accused allegedly circulated a video of the act among their friends, they said.
According to the complaint lodged at Navabad police station by the boy’s father, the incident took place on March 7 when the family was busy with a function.
The two accused — around 15 to 16 years of age — lured his son, a Class 1 student, to a nearby dilapidated building where they allegedly sodomised the boy, and filmed the act on a mobile phone, the complainant said.
The boy’s family learned of the incident on March 9 after the accused allegedly showed the video to another friend, who eventually alerted family members.
“Based on the complaint, a report has been registered regarding the sexual assault of the child. Necessary legal action is being taken against the accused,” Navabad Station House Officer Ravi Srivastava said.
