Morena, Apr 10 (PTI) Seven members of a family were injured, three of them critically, after their van collided with a tractor-trolley on a highway in Madhya Pradesh’s Morena district on Friday, police said.
The crash occurred around 10.30 am on National Highway 44 under the Sarai Chhola police station limits, about 15 km from the district headquarters, an official said.
The victims, members of the Jain family from Uttar Pradesh, were admitted to a district hospital, area inspector KK Singh said.
He said that the victims were travelling to the Sonagiri Jain temple in Datia district of Madhya Pradesh when their vehicle crashed into a tractor trolley near the MP-Rajasthan border.
According to the police, the family was eating inside the van at the time of the crash, which severely damaged the vehicle. PTI COR LAL ARU
