New Delhi, Apr 5 (PTI) A 50-year-old grocery shop owner was killed, while two others were injured after A clash with his neighbours in northwest Delhi’s Shakurpur area, police said on Sunday.
The police have registered a case at the Subhash Place police station and detained three people, they said.
The incident took place at Sanjay Park on the night of April 4, following a dispute between the shopkeeper, identified as Rajkumar, and his neighbours, an officer said.
“During the altercation, the accused attacked the victims using lathis, iron rods and knives, leaving them with multiple stab injuries,” she said.
They were rushed to a nearby hospital, where Rajkumar was declared dead, while the injured, identified as Sumit Gupta (25), son of the deceased, and Kishan Gupta (45), are undergoing treatment, police said.
Meanwhile, three accused, identified as Sumit alias Summa, Ashish alias Ashu and Chetan, have been detained by the police. All three accused are aged between 25 and 30 years old, police said.
Police said that Sumit also suffered injuries during the clash and is admitted to a hospital.
