Ghaziabad (UP), Apr 12 (PTI) A 4-year-old girl was allegedly abducted and killed by her maternal uncle, police here said on Sunday, adding that her body was dumped under a stationary car.
The incident took place on Saturday night, police said.
Assistant Commissioner of Police, Shalimar Garden, Atul Kumar Singh, said that the girl’s body was found under a stationary car in the Shalimar Garden area.
Based on the victim’s father’s complaint, an FIR has been lodged against the accused Shamshad, her maternal uncle.
The body has been sent for postmortem, and the report is awaited. The ACP said that the reports are yet to confirm if the girl was sexually assaulted.
