Latehar, Mar 21 (PTI) Three persons were killed and four others injured after two motorcycles collided head-on in Jharkhand’s Latehar district on Saturday, police said.
The accident happened at Barwatoli in Herhanj police station area, they said.
“Three persons were killed on the spot after their bikes collided head-on, while four others, including a woman, were seriously injured. The injured were taken to the community health centre, Balumath,” Officer in-Charge of Herhanj police station, Krishna Pal Singh, told PTI.
None of them were wearing helmets, he added.
The deceased have been identified as Mohan Ganjhu (22), Mannu Bhuiyan (20), and Gulab Bhuiyan (22).
In another accident, an auto-rickshaw driver was killed, and three others were injured after a collision with a pick-up van in Chandwa police station area, officials said.
