Lucknow, Mar 16 (PTI) A 16-year-old boy riding a motorcycle outside a park here died after the vehicle spun out of control and rammed into a scooty and another vehicle, police said on Monday.
Station House Office, Gomti Nagar Vistar police station, Sudheer Awasthi said the accident took place on Sunday morning outside the Janeshwar Mishra Park.
Awasthi said the motorcycle rider was moving at high speed from Gate 4 towards Gate 5 outside the park when he lost control. The motorcycle first rammed into a scooty, and then into another vehicle.
Three persons including the motorcycle rider and the drivers of the two other vehicles were injured in the incident.
All three were shifted to a hospital where the motorcyclist was declared dead.
Police said the deceased has been identified as Naitik (16).
The SHO said the family of the deceased requested not to conduct his post-mortem, and the body was handed over to them on Sunday itself. PTI NAV ARB ARB
