Bihar: Polling for phase 2 of the Bihar assembly elections began Tuesday, with people coming out in large numbers to cast their votes amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Leader of the Opposition alliance, Tejashwi Yadav, and his mother and former state chief minister Rabri Devi too cast their votes at the Patna veterinary ground polling booth.
The second phase of elections in Bihar will decide the fate of candidates on 94 seats, including that of RJD leader Yadav, who is seeking a re-election from Raghopur in Vaishali district. His brother Tej Pratap Yadav is also contesting from Hasanpur.
Of the 94 seats at stake in the second phase, the BJP is contesting 46 seats and the JD(U) 43.
