New Delhi: Russian President Vladimir Putin is in New Delhi on a two-day visit for the 23rd India-Russia Annual Summit.
In a special gesture, Prime Minister Narendra Modi welcomed Putin upon his arrival at the Air Force Station, Palam on Thursday. Both leaders travelled in the same car and arrived at 7, Lok Kalyan Marg (the official residence of the prime minister). Later, Modi also hosted a private dinner for Russian President Putin.
On Friday, President Droupadi Murmu and PM Modi welcomed Putin at Rashtrapati Bhavan where the Russian President was given a ceremonial welcome and the tri-services guard of honour at the forecourt.
