Harshil, Uttarakhand: The strategic Uttarkashi-Harsil road in Uttarakhand has been completely washed away in Bhatwari, halting all vehicular movement. With the route severed, rescue personnel are now being airlifted across by helicopter.
Apart from that JCB machines installed to clear the roads in landslide-hit areas. Nearly 150 residents from Harshil’s nearby places, which are affected due to cloud burst, have been airlifted to Uttarkashi.
According to government officials, till now 4 people have died and more than 50 people are missing.
