Fact check:
The viral clip, however, is from an earthquake that struck felt Taiwan in September last year. The News Nation journalist later said the video he shared might be dated.
The clip shows four people standing in a forest clearing when the ground starts shaking.
According to India Today’s fact check report, the video was from the Zhuoxi Township Mountaineering Association’s Facebook post. The association stated that its members were working on a flora and fauna course on Zhuoxi Mountain when the tremors were felt last year. Additionally, Taiwanese and Chinese news reports of the earthquake from September 2022 also confirm that the video is dated.
