New Delhi: As a heartfelt tribute to the bravery and sacrifice of the armed forces, T-Series has rolled out a music video titled Sindoor. This comes days after the Bharatiya Janata Party launched a song on the success of Operation Sindoor, the 7 May strikes the Indian military launched against terror camps in Pakistan and Pakistan Occupied Kashmir.
India’s Operation Sindoor was in retaliation for the devastating terrorist attack in Pahalgam on 22 April, which claimed 26 civilian lives.
The track, Sindoor, is sung by Sukhwinder Singh, MeetBros, and Aakanksha Sharma. Composed by MeetBros, the energetic track is complemented by visuals depicting the valour of the Indian Armed Forces.
The music video, released on 21 May, has garnered over 44 lakh views on YouTube.
The comment section of the video is flooded with heartfelt comments lauding the armed forces and expressing support.

Milking patriotism
The week Operation Sindoor was undertaken, Nicky Vicky Bhagnani Films announced a film on the strikes via an AI-generated poster.
Film critic Ramesh Bala isn’t surprised at the attempts to milk the patriotism. Some people have artistic views and others have commercial, he said.
“One cannot really point out what is right and what is not. Even with the films, there are multiple projects in the pipeline on Operation Sindoor, and they will release in the next few years,” Bala added.
Singer Vidhya Gopal, on the other hand, wants art to be sincere expression, not just a content opportunity.
“As an artist, I believe in the importance of authenticity. During significant events, it’s natural to feel conflicted about how to respond. Personally, I chose to step back to avoid adding to the noise,” Gopal added.
According to the singer, there’s a clear difference between “heartfelt creation” and using “sensitive topics merely for content”.
The T-Series song comes days after BJP MP Manoj Tiwari released his own song on Operation Sindoor. His Sindoor Ki Lalkar pays tribute to the bravery of the Indian military and emphasises the retaliation for the Pahalgam attack.
The song also highlights the fact that Operation Sindoor is not over yet, and India’s enemies should be ready for fresh punitive measures if they resort to any adventurism.
With over 9 lakh views, the song has taken social media by storm.
