New Delhi: Actor Karan Veer Mehra is the winner of Bigg Boss 18. After 3 months of drama, tasks, fights, tears, and votes, Mehra has defeated fellow actor Vivian DSena and 22 other contestants to emerge as the reality show’s season 18 winner.
The winner was chosen based on audience votes. DSena and Mehra went head-to-head in the finale after the elimination of another fan favourite, Rajat Dalal.
Aamir Khan appeared on the Bigg Boss 18 finale to promote his son Junaid Khan’s upcoming movie, Loveyapa. The actor, along with Salman Khan, recreated a scene from the cult classic Andaz Apna Apna (1994). The two superstars rode a bike together, with Do Mastane Chale Zindagi Banane playing in the background. Actors Junaid Khan and Khushi Kapoor—the leading pair for Loveyapa—also appeared in the show’s final episode.
Mehra walks away with a cash prize of Rs 50 lakh and a golden trophy. As the most recent Bigg Boss winner, the TV actor has joined the ranks of MC Stan, Munawar Faruqui, and Tejasswi Prakash.
Mehra had earlier also won Khatron Ke Khiladi 14 and is the second person to win both reality shows after actor Sidharth Shukla. Mehra began his career with the popular TV show Remix (2005). Apart from TV shows, Mehra has also acted in movies like Blood Money (2012), Mere Dad Ki Maruti (2013), and Ragini MMS 2 (2014).

Muthukumaran wins BB Tamil
Season 8 of Bigg Boss Tamil, hosted by Vijay Sethupathi, has also concluded. Muthukumaran has emerged as the show’s winner. On Sunday, YouTuber Muthukumaran triumphed over contestants like Raayan, Soundariya, Vishal, and Pavithra Lakshmi.
The cash prize for the season 8 winner was Rs 40.05 lakh. Raayan was the first contestant to get evicted from the show, followed by Pavithra Lakshmi and Vishal.
Muthukumaran rose to fame through his YouTube channel, ‘Naan Muthu Kumaran’. He launched it in 2019, uploading personal blogs, movie reviews, and interactive sessions.
Much like its Hindi counterpart, the Tamil show quickly became popular, thanks to its controversial moments and contestants. It was hosted by Kamal Hassan for seven seasons. However, the veteran actor made a temporary exit this season due to prior work commitments, and Sethupathi took over.
