Delhi chokes as air quality remains in ‘very poor’ category with AQI 355

New Delhi: Delhi recorded a warm Tuesday morning with the minimum temperature settling at 17.9 degrees Celsius, while the air quality remained in the very poor category.

The Air Quality Index reading at 9 am was 355 Five stations — Anand Vihar, Jahangirpuri, Wazirpur, Rohini, and Mundka — ”reported air quality in the severe category, with AQI levels above 400.

According to AQI classifications, a range of 0-50 is considered ‘good’, 51-100 ‘satisfactory’, 101-200 ‘moderate, 201-300 ‘poor’, 301-400 ‘very poor’, and 401-500 ‘severe.’ The humidity level was at 96 percent at 8:30 am.
