MRF Ltd wins MMA award for managerial excellence

Chennai, Jul 5 (PTI) Tyre manufacturer MRF Ltd has bagged the 23rd MMA award for managerial excellence in the manufacturing category, the Madras Management Association said on Saturday.

The city-headquartered Cholamandalam Investment and Finance Company Ltd has secured the top honour in the services category.

The 23rd Madras Management Association Awards for Managerial Excellence were presented to top performers at an event held in the city on July 4, organised by the Madras Management Association.

Deloitte India Partner Easwaran said each of the winners, apart from being efficient in their fields, had demonstrated remarkable leadership, executed strategic actions and achieved tangible results.

Tamil Nadu-based academic institution VIT University was selected under the educational institutions category for the 23 MMA Awards for Managerial Excellence, while Baettr India Pvt Ltd was honoured with the MAME Award under the MSME category.

Volvo Group India President and Managing Director Kamal Bali presented the award to the winners at the event, a press release from the Madras Management Association said.

Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd Managing Director and All India Management Association President Suneeta Reddy was also present on the occasion.

A business magazine of MMA, Business Mandate, and Volume II of MMA Publication — ‘Turning Points: Management Lessons from Legends’ were also released on the occasion.
