QUITOL, India (Reuters) – India’s Petronet LNG will be signing on Tuesday a deal with Qatar for 7.5 million metric tons per year of LNG supplies beyond 2028, industry sources said.

India wants to raise the share of natural gas in its energy mix to 15% by 2030, up from the current 6.2%, as part of an effort to cut emissions.
