New Delhi, Apr 2 (PTI) Ceigall India on Thursday said that its arm Ceigall Green Energy MP Ltd has signed 15 power purchase agreements with Madhya Pradesh Power Management Company for supplying electricity from a 130-MW solar capacity under the Surya Mitra Krishi Feeder Yojana.

As per the agreements, Ceigall Green Energy MP Ltd will implement, operate, maintain, and supply power from its solar photovoltaic generating stations for 25 years at Rs 2.85 per unit, a company statement said.

The Surya Mitra Krishi Feeder Yojana is aimed at providing reliable daytime power to the agricultural sector through dedicated solar feeders, while advancing India’s clean energy goals.

The project carries an estimated EPC (engineering, procurement and construction) cost of Rs 572 crore (including GST) and includes a 12-month execution period, followed by a 25-year operational term.

Ramneek Sehgal, Chairman & Managing Director, Ceigall India, said in the statement, “This achievement reflects our commitment to developing sustainable, high-quality solar assets that support India’s long-term energy transition.” The company’s strategic foray into solar energy aligns with India’s broader push towards sustainable infrastructure and energy security, while complementing its core expertise in large-scale project execution.

Ceigall India is an EPC company engaged in the development of highways, expressways, bridges, flyovers, railway overbridges, tunnels, and runways. PTI KKS HVA
