Students of various IITs & NITs are paying such quantum of fees there also a good number of students are from poor families so what’s so special about JNU?
The “student” being hauled up by the police in the image used by the Print is the one who would’ve stayed a peon in his village but for JNU?
Doesn’t he reflect the average age of 30 years of the “Thugs of JNU”, masquerading as students n freeloading?
We need a 370 type operation in the JNU to weed out commies, anti-socials and make it anti-septic for genuine students ONLY!
JaiHind
I did not understand the logic of the students. The fees even now after the hike are very reasonable. But yes, they will not be able to use the low fees as a substitute for staying there indefinitely. This will get rid of non-serious students from the premises.
The administration should have done this long time back.
I don’t think 300/month is a big amount and many of the students are under scholarship. This will probably drive out anti social left elements who use the jnu hostel for their stay for years. All these goons must be driven out of JNU
Fee hike zindabad. Protesting jnu students (naxalites, anti nationals, free loaders, seditionists, communists, socialists et al) Murdabad. Protesting students should be shifted to University of North Korea.

Why not make education free.
300 per month is peanuts and virtually free…why do the commies always want others to pay for their anti national activities?
Kick out the freeloaders!
Leftist goons are spoiling JNU. These goons including leftist students and teachers should be thrown out of JNU.
Who’s making a fool of whom? – The government making a fool of students OR is it the students making a fool of the government?
