IRM India Affiliate launches the 4th National GOER 2026 with 61 leading university teams; UG & PG winners to receive cash prizes, scholarships, and national recognition in June 2026.
The Institute of Risk Management (IRM) – India Affiliate has announced the launch of the fourth edition of the National GOER – Game of Enterprise Risk® 2026. This year, 61 teams from leading universities across the nation have participated, and the competition is now gearing up for its highly anticipated Round 2, scheduled to take place in the coming week. The top 10 Undergraduate (UG) and top 10 Postgraduate (PG) teams will advance to the grand finale, where they will compete before a distinguished jury of industry leaders and risk management experts. The final event will be hosted at the prestigious Mahindra University, Hyderabad, with the grand finale scheduled for June 2026.
In its fourth edition, the competition continues to scale with strong institutional and industry partnerships. HDFC Mutual Fund joins as the Title and Financial Literacy Partner under its Campus Connect – Investor Education and Awareness Initiative, Mahindra University comes on board as the Campus Partner, and Snackible joins as the Snacking Partner. The finale will also feature Max Lopez, as the official Resilience Mascot. A dynamic motivator and fitness champion from Dubai, Max will energise finalist teams through a high-impact fitness session, serve as a resilience buddy with powerful pep talks, and anchor the Closing Ceremony with his signature enthusiasm and presence.
The Closing Ceremony will also be marked by the presence of Mr. Navneet Munot, MD & CEO, HDFC Asset Management Company Limited, who will grace the occasion as the Chief Guest. One of India’s most respected business voices, his presence will bring significant industry gravitas to the national platform.
About the GOER – Game of Enterprise Risk®
GOER – Game of Enterprise Risk® is a registered trademark of the IRM India Affiliate. The GOER is a unique, interactive simulation-based competition where participants navigate complex risk scenarios, apply strategic thinking, and enterprise risk management techniques to solve real-world challenges. The game aims to foster the development of future leaders by encouraging problem solving, negotiation, teamwork, and decision-making in a dynamic environment. In addition to the prestige of competing at a national level, participants have the chance to win exciting prizes. The winning teams in the UG and PG categories will receive cash prizes and scholarships for IRM’s Global Level 1 ERM exam and certification, supporting their continued journey to become risk-intelligent leaders.
