Greenwick Funded, a proprietary trading evaluation firm built only for the Indian markets, has opened funded trading accounts of ₹5 lakh to ₹50 lakh for traders of NSE, BSE and MCX. Traders take an evaluation on a simulated account that runs on live Indian market prices. Those who meet the published rules receive a share of the profit they make, starting at 80% and rising to 90%.
The launch comes as FundedStock, one of India’s early prop trading evaluation platforms, becomes part of Greenwick. According to the company, FundedStock has a two-year operating history and more than 25,000 registered traders. Existing FundedStock accounts continue as FundedStock 2.0 with the same login, progress and payout schedule. All new evaluations are now issued through Greenwick.
A different way to trade with size
Most Indian retail traders put their own savings into futures and options. A SEBI study published in September 2024 found that 93% of individual equity F&O traders made losses between FY22 and FY24, with combined losses of more than ₹1.8 lakh crore.
The prop model changes what a trader puts at risk. A Greenwick trader pays a one-time evaluation fee and trades a simulated account. If the trader breaks a loss limit, the account closes and the trader’s loss is limited to that fee. If the trader passes, Greenwick pays a share of the profit from its own funds.
Three plans, one rulebook
Greenwick offers three plans:
- 2-Step: an 8% target, followed by a 5% target.
- 1-Step: a single 10% target.
- Instant: funded from the first day.
The 2-Step and 1-Step plans use a static maximum loss floor that does not move up as the account grows. There is no time limit on any plan. Payouts are released every 14 days, or weekly on accounts of ₹10 lakh and above, by UPI or bank transfer, with the UTR shared with the trader. On ₹10 lakh and larger 2-Step and 1-Step accounts, the evaluation fee is refunded with the first payout.
Traders can trade NIFTY, BANKNIFTY, FINNIFTY and MIDCPNIFTY options and futures, NSE stocks, SENSEX and BANKEX on BSE, and gold, silver, crude oil and natural gas on MCX.
The company publishes its full rulebook before purchase. A rule change applies only to accounts bought after the change, never to existing accounts.
“Indian traders have always had to choose between trading small and risking their savings. We built Greenwick so that a disciplined trader can prove their skill on a large account, under rules they can read before they pay, and be paid for it. Every rule is in rupees and in Indian market hours, because that is where our traders live,” said Akshay Mozankar, Founder, Greenwick Funded.
Founding pricing
The first 500 traders get founding prices. A ₹5 lakh 2-Step account starts at ₹6,499 against a regular price of ₹8,999. A ₹10 lakh 2-Step account is ₹10,999 against ₹14,999. Plans are available at greenwickfunded.com.
