New Delhi [India], April 09: Admissions are now open for UG Economics and PG Economics programmes at the TERI School of Advanced Studies (TERI SAS), New Delhi, a deemed-to-be university, for the academic session 2026-27.

BSc Economics [Hons/Hons. With Research] is a Four-Year Programme that is designed to build strong foundations in economic theory, analytical reasoning, and quantitative methods. The curriculum includes core and foundational courses such as Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Statistics, and Econometrics with hands-on training on the Computational Methods, along with applied courses like Development Economics, Indian Economy, and Economic History.

The programme also includes a strong research component with a dissertation, along with industry exposure through project-based learning. It follows the National Education Policy 2020framework with multiple entry and exit options, and students completing the fourth year with Honours or Honours with Research.

Students can also opt for the Five-Year Integrated MSc Economics programme, which enables them to complete both undergraduate and postgraduate degrees through a single admission process, thereby providing seamless academic progression.

The MSc Economics programme, with specialisation in Environmental and Resource Economics, focuses on Advanced Economic Theories, Econometrics, and Applied Research. Eligibility and Application

CUET-UG/PG scores are accepted for admission into TERI SAS’ Economics programmes.

BSc Economics and the Five-Year Integrated MSc Economics programme

  • Applicants must have completed the Senior Secondary School Leaving Certificate or Higher Secondary (Class 12) examination after successful completion of Grade 12 from a recognised board.
  • There is no upper age limit for applicants.

MSc Economics [One Year]

  • Applicants must have 10+2 level knowledge of Mathematics.
  • A Bachelor’s degree [Open School and/or Correspondence Degree(s)] after the completion of the Four Years Undergraduate Programme in Economics with at least 50 per cent marks in aggregate.

OR

  • A Bachelor’s degree [Open School and/or Correspondence Degree(s)] after the completion of the Four Years Undergraduate Programme in any other discipline with at least 60 per cent marks in aggregate.
  • There is no age bar.

MSc Economics [Two Years]

  • Applicants must have 10+2 level knowledge of Mathematics.
  • B.A. (Hons.) / B.Sc. (Hons.) Degree to include (Open School and Correspondence Degree) in Economics with 50% or more marks in aggregate (CGPA of 5.65).

OR

  • Bachelor’s degree to include (Open School and Correspondence Degree) in any other discipline with at least 60% marks in aggregate (CGPA of 6.75). The applicant must have studied mathematics either at 10+2 level or at the Bachelor level, either as a subsidiary or as honours course.
