The 370 and 35A has gone. If we are a democracy the overwhelming majority decision has to be respected. The only people against it are possibly the beneficiaries. Protecting the life and property is the responsibility of the Government. Methods adopted may not be to one’s liking . If one has an alternative with a an assurance that it will not lead to violence please put it forward. There are enough lessons the administration has learnt in the past. The constitution does not give permanently any special identity or status to anyone of us.
There is no point banning communications. The need it is to monitor them. Its more effective.

I read some news saying that mobile networks were going to be opened in parts of Kashmir. Hope it happens soon.
