Looks like the author is completely oblivious to the realities of life in India. To claim that there are no issues of crowding, pollution etc is either ignorance or denial. Access to inexpensive good education, healthcare is a pipedream in India. Not only HNIs, even middle class blue collar and white collar workers aspire to leave India. Indian cities are a nightmare from which there is no waking up. Even after working hard the rewards wrt quality of life are simply not commensurate. The kind of stress and competition in India is unimaginable. Also considering the corruption, harassment and extortion that everyone faces, from authorities any surprise that people just wish to get out, HNIs or not.
