IPL boundaries are shrinking and batter-friendly rules growing out of proportion. Turns out, so are bat sizes. Umpires are now being handed devices to assess bat dimensions and check for undue advantage. At this rate, bowlers might need titanium arms. Silver lining? Maybe BCCI has realised that size does matter.

Stalin must not turn 2026 TN election into Centre-state battle. It will only produce losers

Tamil Nadu CM Stalin’s new, high-level committee on state autonomy is a smart political move to corner NDA. His grievances aren’t unfounded. Centre’s actions don’t often match PM Modi’s words on cooperative federalism. Stalin must desist from turning 2026 election into a Centre-state battle. It will only produce losers overall.

Haryana minister trolling Vinesh Phogat is petty politics. She deserves the cash prize

Haryana minister Ranbir Gangwa joins trolls to attack Vinesh Phogat. It’s petty politics. She’s an MLA now, but first she is an Olympic star. Her disqualification was a technicality. If Tendulkar, Gambhir and Hema Malini could do lucrative endorsement as MPs, questioning Phogat’s claim for government-declared reward is beyond cynical.

  1. The Print is acting like an ostrich with it’s head buried in the sand.
Till date, not a single editorial has been published on the barbaric anti-Hindu pogroms in Murshidabad. Bengal is burning but the “secular” media outlets are least interested.
One can easily imagine the fulminations and outrage if the victims had been Muslims.

  2. Boundaries are shrinking for us Hindus. We were kicked out of our ancestral homes in Pakistan and Bangladesh. Fortunately, we could take shelter in India. Here, we settled down and prospered.
Now, it seems we are again unsafe in our own country. The incidents in West Bengal are a stark reminder that if we do not unite and fight back we will again be refugees – kicked out of our homes.
We cannot trust our politicians. Their incompetence, selfishness and greed were the primary reasons for the partition of India in 1947. Given a chance, they would happily repeat the same feat. Ms. Mamata Banerjee exemplifies everything that is wrong with Indian politics. Yet, the people of West Bengal seem to have given her the chance to render them homeless and stateless again.

  3. The Print’s editorial team always finds some non-issue to outrage and pontificate on.
For a change, why don’t you guys come up with an editorial on the Murshidabad riots? Or does it not suit your agenda as the victims are Hindus in this case?
Also, the state government is a non-BJP one and, therefore, kosher for Mr. Shekhar Gupta and company.
