The timing of the Centre’s probe into Gandhi family-run trusts raises questions about its motive, mainly because of the investigative agencies’ chequered record. A divided political class is the last thing India needs in times of crises. The probe must be time-bound and impartial to allay apprehensions of political witch-hunt.
CBSE move to axe chapters justified, but choice of chapters smacks of political agenda
CBSE decision to revise syllabi for classes 9-12 and axe some chapters is justified given the coronavirus disruption. But its choice of chapters is not. It appears like CBSE is doing the bidding of the government of the day and smacks of a political agenda. We don’t need such education.
