All political parties with stakes in Punjab – Congress, AAP, Akalis, BJP-Amarinder Singh – have unanimously condemned ‘sacrilege’ at Gurudwaras. None has dared to question lynching as a response. This acquiescence with mob justice is tragic and scary. It also speaks poorly for their commitment to the Constitution and rule of law.
