Jan 9 (Reuters) – Venezuela’s government said on Friday it has begun an exploratory diplomatic phase with the United States, with a view to reestablishing diplomatic presence in both countries.
U.S. State Department officials are arriving to carry out technical and logistical assessments, it said in a statement.
